Excel and Access Consulting - How it works

This is how the consulting process typically works.

• The client (you) calls, emails, or fills out the Request a Quote.
• Your project consultant will answer the phone (if on a call we will call you back ASAP) or email you back.
• We are based in Utah, but work remotely through phone, email, gotomeeting, teamviewer, and other collaboration tools. We are great communicators, have delivered hundreds of projects and have mastered this process. It will be like we are sitting next to you. We do travel to client’s sites when asked, but we have found this is only necessary and cost efficient for very large projects.
• The rate is $90/hr. Minimum charge is one hour. If it’s something very simple, we can help you on the phone directly or email back the solution, and send you an invoice for the one hour charge.
• If the request by email is intuitive and includes files and instructions, we will provide a quote directly.
• The quote consists of our rate * the number of hours we estimate the work will take. This will be a hard quote that we will honor that you can budget for. Our work is guaranteed, and if it takes longer than we expected to implement the project or work out any bugs, we don’t bill any extra. You can pay invoices with check or online with credit card. Our quote will be all inclusive: covering creation, fine tuning, testing, and implementation.
• Usually for larger projects it’s best to do a gotomeeting call. We provide that as a free service. We will arrange a time with you to do this, send the meeting invitation with clear instructions how to join the meeting, then we will go over your files with you and you can explain exactly what you need to do. At that point we will provide a quote, and you can decide whether to go forward. We want your business, and we bid competitively!
